„Dark Lies The Island”

„Dark Lies The Island” izložba fotografija ("Dark Lies The Island" Photography Exhibition)

Ferguson će otvoriti svoju izložbu „Dark Lies The Island” 11. marta u 15h u Kulturnom centru REX. Svi su dobrodošli. Na otvaranju će takođe biti proglašeni pobednici foto takmičenja Give It Your Best Shot – Bif2017 Photo Competition u kategoriji „Beograd koji nestaje” (‘Ghost Belgrade’) , a deo najboljih radova će biti izloženi za publiku.

Conor Ferguson is an Irish photographer, writer and film-maker based in Dublin. The images for his exhibition in Belgrade have been specially selected for the Belgrade Irish Festival. Influences on his work reflect the impact of goth music in 1980s Dublin and, the dark, sometimes twisted world of Irish writers such as Pat McCabe or Kevin Barry. (The title of the exhibition is borrowed from Barry’s second collection of short stories!).

Ferguson will attend the opening of „Dark Lies The Island” exhibition on March 11th at 15h at KC Rex. All welcome.
At the opening, the winners of this year’s photo competition will be announced for the category ‘Ghost Belgrade’ and a selection of the best submissions will be exhibited.
